To reach end consumers and to promote OLAY products, P&G in association with BGDPL launched the Counselling program. The various highlights are noted below:
We started counselling for various other brands like Gillette/Pampers/Whisper/Venus/Ambipur from 1st July 2017 with 12 BCs & 1 TL.
In 2019, we started having presence in greater number of stores & we now have separate Counsellors in most large counters for individual brands.
In February 2020, Ariel brand is included with 5 counsellors in 5 stores.
Occasionally arranged Olay activities like free Skin Analysis in different stores like South City Spencer’s, Quest Spencer’s, Metro C & C (DC-60), H & G (Health & Glow Store) etc. We did complete consultation of the consumer’s skin & resolved their concern by showing videos & images on TABs & recommend regimen. Consumers can experience the products through Tester available with the BCs while being explained about product benefits.
Recently in 2019, during Durga Puja, we arranged an Olay Free Skin Analysis activity at Health & Glow store in DCN Mall.
During COVID-19 Lockdown, from mid of April 2020, we started Olay Tele Skin Consultation.
Done free counselling over phone call & video call and let the interested customer purchased from our online store – pgshop.in. We also helped local customers to purchase from stores those who are not able to come to the shop or purchase from online.
We delivered ordered products at local stores to customer house through our supply chain team.

The MR team kicked off with a small team in 2008. At that time there were only 4 accounts working with us.

Total 15 merchandiser working with us was at that time bringing in monthly business of 1cr 30 lakhs.
Now after 12 years, we are doing business with almost 12 accounts
